Important information for students: health and safety laws require you to have successfully completed an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) safety awareness course before you do any construction work in Western Australia.
According to legislation, as of 1 September 2009, only the ‘White Card’ course (CPCCOHS1001A) meets the requirements for construction induction training in WA and in other states and territories.
It is also important to know that if your White Card is over three years old, it will not be recognised in Western Australia because WA requires construction induction cards to be renewed every three years.
