What is a NSW white card?
In New South Wales, it is a mandatory requirement to get White Card license for anyone like site manager or trade people carrying construction work. It is a Occupation and Health Safety(OHS) program in building industry. Your white card will become invalid if you haven’t been working in the building industry for two or more consecutive years. To get the white card, you need to do a course called Work Safely in the Construction Industry (CPCCOHS1001A) provided by a registered training organisation.

Recognition of interstate white card
According to NSW Workcover, “WorkCover NSW recognises all interstate General Construction Induction Training (GIT) cards issued under corresponding Work Health and Safety legislation as well as a range of cards issued under previous arrangements.”
Can I use my NSW white card working in other states of Australia?
Yes, you can use your white card for other states if you got your white card after 1 September 2009. If your white card was issued before that, only state not accepting your license is Western Australia.
